Hello everyone... It's time for me to release the final chapter of my second novel, The Paradox Thief. Before I put up the link, there are some things I feel I must say about who I am and why I did this. There was a reason why I resorted to using an online novel as a way to generate funds for Uganda as opposed to the traditional fund raising methods.
I had to ask myself, why do I write? The obvious answer was always for the purpose of putting it up on the blog. To define the real meaning behind it, I knew that it involved changing the world that we live in. Clearly, there were many things wrong with the way in which the world works and I felt as though it was time to change them into something greater or to mentally change the way we view it so as that we would become capable of willingly tolerating everything.
My characters had several fundamental flaws. Don't be like them. Become something purer, more open minded, and more tolerant. That is what the world really needs. And love. Love is the most powerful card you can play in this universe that favors cheaters, liars, and thieves.
The world itself is silently falling into a position to where it will no longer be able to survive. Individuals and leaders speak of ways to fix the problems daily, but birds cannot simply fly without wings. If we are going to free ourselves from our own folly, we must get in touch with ourselves. Sure we've made connections to our friends, work, and world which we experience in general, but have we forced connections to ourselves? We know what goes on in our heads better than anyone else does. We know how selfish, greedy, lazy, and heartless we really are, so why not have a shot at trying to fix the problems at hand for the greater good of the rest of the world at large? We are all aware that the world is slipping in more than one way and fixing the problem will not be brought about without hard work. It must be realized that we are all connected by an infinite number of direct and indirect lines of fate. In short, the path to changing the world begins by an inner change within each of ourselves.
I hope that the positive change we so desperately need comes soon.
The best part of all is that it begins with you.
That's right; it's your turn.
